End District Gerrymandering!
In each state, use a non-partisan district mechanism which will create districts based on geography, population, and socio-economic considerations. This is in opposition to the current political power motivations of district establishment.
Polling locations and drop boxes will be established in such a way that no undue burden is placed on the voters, either through distance or wait times.
Citizens Vote!
First, all eligible voters are provided, for free, state issued identification that allows voters to practice their constitutional rights to vote within their district of residence.
Second, Either election day is deemed a national holiday affording all voters the opportunity to vote or a secure alternative is available for everyone across the country.
The Electoral College?
The electoral college is an antiquated system that over values rural voters and under values urban voters.
We either need to allow for a popular vote for the President, or switch from a winner take all electoral model to a district model, as is practiced in Maine and Nebraska.
Term Limits!
We need to institute terms limits for federally elected offices.
The Supreme Court Justice limit should be 27 years, that means a seat is reconsidered every 3 years. So, Congress cannot withhold a Presidential nominee or rush a nominee for political reasons. It also means a single president gets one pick per term.
Congress should be limited to 24 years total service. That is 4 terms as a Senator and 6 terms as a Representative.
